Andrew Lilja (PhD Student) received the Overall Best Presentation Award for 2009 at the TSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting, Darwin, 3-8 April, 2009.
Francis Shand (PhD Student) received the Science Section Award at the Victorian TSANZ Annual meeting.
Xia Hui Tan (PhD Student) received the Lilian Roxon Travel Award from the Asthma Foundation of Victoria and was runner up in the Science Section Award at the Victorian TSANZ annual meeting and Xiahui has been selected as a finalist in the TSANZ Ann Woolcock Young Investigator Award for his presentation in March 2009 in Darwin.
Shane Liddlelow received Journal of Development Travelling Scholarship awarded by the Journal of Development in 2009.
Dr Lauren May (PhD Student) has won one of 5 inaugural Dean’s awards for excellence in a PhD thesis in 2009.
Paul Soeding won the best poster at the Australian Society of Anaesthetists Annual Scientific Meeting in 2008.
Alicia Dennis (PhD Student) was awarded the Australian Society of Anaesthetists Research Grant/LMA PacMed Fellowship 2008, won the Gilbert Troup Prize - medal and $2000 - and won the Best Oral presentation at the Australian Society of Anaesthetists Annual Scientific Meeting in 2008.
Ai Ling Tan (Honours Student 2008) won the Whelan Prize for the Best Poster by an Honours student at the annual ASCEPT meeting.
Christine Keenan (Honours Student 2008) received Top Honours in Pharmacology.
