1. How to Apply.
- This year the following Laboratories have indicated an interest in supervising a Summer Vacation Student:
- Contact the laboratory head via email and state that you are interested in conducting a summer research scholarship. Don't take it personally if they say no as sometimes lab heads take extended periods of leave over the summer and are not available to supervise projects.
- If the laboratory head is willing to supervise you, they will set up a project and then advise you which of the funding bodies (click here), you would be eligible to apply for.
- Submit an electronic application by email to: fanoula@unimelb.edu.au and a hard copy with original signatures to Pharmacology Reception, Level 8, Medical Building. NOTE: You can apply directly to the funding bodies, but please let us know your intent and provide us with a hard copy of your application.
However, other researchers may also be interested in supervising you and so you should look at the Department of Pharmacology's Research webpage and identify the research laboratory you are most interested in: www.pharmacology.unimelb.edu.au/research/research.html
